Dem36 is excited to be partnering with Adelaide University to deliver the Democracy Innovation Festival. This two-day event will bring together leading Australian and international thinkers, policymakers, researchers, students, civic leaders, and community advocates to explore how our democratic systems can be strengthened and renewed.
At a time of declining trust in institutions, rising political polarisation, and rapid technological change, it is particularly important that we come together in a positive way to explore how we can do democracy better and ensure that everyone can have their voices heard.
The festival will take place across two days from 17-18 August, featuring keynote presentations, public discussions, workshops, panels, and skills labs.
Extra exciting for us, the festival will also feature the formal launch of Dem36, with our committee members taking part in the conversations and helping to organise the sessions!
